Christine Roberts is staff development and curriculum specialist in mathematics at the Tulare County Office of Education. She provides support to districts in designing and implementing a high quality mathematics program for all students. She facilitates professional learning opportunities with teachers and administrators to support the growth of mathematics content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and knowledge of student thinking. She also serves as an improvement specialist for the county office of education's Central Valley Networked Improvement Community, a network of eight Tulare County school districts focused on increasing fifth-grade mathematics achievement. She is president-elect of the California Mathematics Council, and Western Region 2 Team Leader for the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics.
