Aliza Gilbert
Aliza Gilbert is a college counselor at Highland Park High School in Illinois. She has also been associate director of admissions at Lake Forest College. She is a member of the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling and has held multiple positions on its executive board, and she is a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) and is past chair of its Committee on Inclusion, Access and Success Access. She formerly served on the Outreach Advisory Committee for the Common Application and the Counselor Advisory Board for the University of Illinois. She is a recipient of the NACAC Human Relations Award, of the City of Highland Park Humanitarian Award, and of the Counselors That Change Lives award. Gilbert received her PhD in higher education from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
