Allene Timar was vice president of instruction at Napa Valley College. She previously served as vice chancellor of student services at City College of San Francisco. She was formerly an advisor and researcher for Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE). She is now a higher education consultant with expertise in systemwide policy and instructional improvement. Timar earned her PhD in educational administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
