Alvin Lee

Alvin Lee is a graduating senior in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University. He has held several leadership positions in the field of educational policy, including founder and current executive director of GENup (a California-based student-led education policy organization empowering youth voice); a cofounder of the inaugural California Student Board Member Association; a founding member of the Youth Advisory Council at the California Department of Education, and an advisory board member at Scaling Student Success. Previous positions includes strategic advisor to The Ed Trust—West; council member at California Forward; student leader with Ed100; California 100 Commissioner; fellow with Children Now; fellow with the Kravis Leadership Institute at Claremont McKenna College; and research assistant at PACE. His education and community efforts have been recognized with a California congressional certificate and citation as well as with a Rhodes Scholarship (2025).
