Amy Gerstein is the executive director of the John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities at Stanford University. Her leadership is influenced by her career experience in educational policy and research, curriculum and instruction, district reform, professional development, philanthropy, and project management. She values close partnership work with community members across multiple sectors and appreciates the opportunity to address systemic and structural inequities to improve the lives of youth and families. Gerstein received her PhD in education from Stanford University.
