Andrea (Mayo) Jacks is the chief research and evaluation officer at Texas Health Institute. She previously served as senior director of research at E3 Alliance and as the data and research lead for prevention and early intervention at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. She has worked in policy research and data analysis with several nonprofit organizations and government agencies, including the Texas Legislative Council, the Center for Public Policy Priorities, the National Skills Coalition, and Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE). Her research focuses on public policy, social policy, health policy, and education policy, with expertise in research methods, econometrics, and data analysis. Jacks earned an MPP in health policy from Georgetown University and a PhD in public administration and policy from Arizona State University.
