Anisah Waite
Continuous Improvement Coach,
New Visions for Public Schools

As a continuous improvement coach, Anisah Waite works with principals and school leadership teams to support the design and improvement of core school systems. Prior to joining New Visions, she conducted education policy research on topics including school culture, teacher professional community, and school leadership. She also taught a course on the sociology of schools at Columbia University Teachers College. Dr. Waite began her career in education as a high school science teacher in New York City. She has a master’s in teaching from Fordham University and a Ph.D. in education from the University of California, Berkeley.
