Anisah (Waite) Hardin is an evolutionary learning associate at the Center for Public Research and Leadership. She was a continuous improvement coach at New Visions for Public Schools, partnering with principals and school leadership teams across a portfolio of New York City schools to develop and implement systems that drive impact across multiple school functions. Her work led to increased graduation rates, the creation of key performance indicators, and the design of tools to enhance student performance. She has also served as an adjunct lecturer at Columbia University, a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Virginia, and a research consultant for The George Washington University. She began her career as a high school science teacher in New York City. Waite earned her PhD in education from the University of California, Berkeley.
