Beth Katz was an institutional research and planning analyst at El Camino College, where she contributed to the development of the college's Integrated Plan and supported data-driven decision-making for institutional improvement. Earlier, she served as an assistant policy analyst at the RAND Corporation, conducting research on education and policy evaluation. She is now the director of evaluation and museum impact at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, where she leads efforts to assess and enhance the museum’s educational programs and visitor experiences. Katz earned her PhD in policy analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School, an MA in secondary education from Loyola Marymount University.
