Beverly Parsons

Beverly Parsons (L. Anderson) is the former president of the American Evaluation Association. She was also a board member of the International Evaluation Academy. Parsons previously served as a program director at the Education Commission of the States and as a consultant for the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control, and the Center for the Study of Social Policy. She has worked extensively with governors, legislators, philanthropic organizations, universities, and community-based groups on evaluation and strategic planning. She is currently the executive director of InSites, a Colorado-based nonprofit organization that promotes learning, growth, and change through inquiry-based evaluation, planning, and research. Parsons earned an MA and PhD in educational research and evaluation from the University of Colorado and a BS in medical technology from the University of Wisconsin.
