Brooks Rosenquist Montalvo
Brooks Rosenquist Montalvo is an assistant director in the Data and Learning Division of the Colorado Education Initiative (CEI). At CEI, he supports school districts and Boards of Cooperative Educational Services in developing and improving their career-connected learning programs through appropriate use of data. He is also a research affiliate with the Center for Practice Engaged Education Research. He previously worked as a manager, lead researcher, and senior research analyst on the Research and Evaluation team at Denver Public Schools, where his work focused on large-scale stakeholder surveys, program evaluation, and coordinating external research partnerships. He has also been an educational program advisor with Fondo Puentes de Caña in Columbia and a classroom teacher in a range of K–12 settings in California, Louisiana, and Taiwan. He has published articles in academic journals including American Educational Research Journal, Educational Administration Quarterly, and the Journal of Research on Educational Effectiveness. Rosenquist Montalvo received his PhD in educational leadership and policy from Vanderbilt University.
