Diana Mercado-Garcia is the director of the Stanford–Sequoia K–12 Collaborative and associate director of Research Practice Partnerships at California Education Partners. Her expertise centers on the K–12 trajectories and postsecondary transitions of English learner students. Her research has been published in Teachers College Press, the American Education Research Journal, AERA Open, and the American Journal of Education. She previously worked at the American Institutes for Research and was a UC Chancellor’s postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Diego. Mercado-Garcia received her PhD in education policy from at Stanford University.
