Drew Atchison is a researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR). His primary responsibilities include quantitative analysis on a wide range of projects examining topics such as accountability, education finance, and educational equity. Dr. Atchison has also contributed substantially to the research and writing of several reports commissioned by the U.S. Department of Education, including a study of Title 1. He was awarded the Jean Flanigan Outstanding Dissertation Award from the Association of Education Finance and Policy. Previously, Dr. Atchison was a research assistant at George Washington University and a consultant for Digital Promise. He completed his Ed.D. in education policy at The George Washington University.
