Drew Atchison is a researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR). His primary responsibilities include quantitative analysis on a wide range of projects examining accountability, education finance, and educational equity. Atchison has also contributed research and writing to several reports commissioned by the U.S. Department of Education, including a study of Title 1. He was awarded the Jean Flanigan Outstanding Dissertation Award from the Association of Education Finance and Policy. He has been a research assistant at George Washington University and a consultant for Digital Promise. He received his EdD in education policy from George Washington University.
