Elise Brumbach is director of policy and practice in the UCLA Center for the Developing Adolescent (CDA) at the University of California, Los Angeles. She oversees CDA’s efforts to provide policymakers and youth-serving practitioners with insights from the science of adolescent development while connecting key decision makers with the science of adolescent development to improve policy and practice and advance equity. Brumbach holds an MPP in social and urban policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in social and cultural analysis from New York University. She also earned a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and is a licensed California attorney who has previously provided legal aid.
