Elise Brumbach is director of policy and practice at the University of California, Los Angeles, Center for the Developing Adolescent (CDA). She oversees CDA’s efforts to provide policymakers and youth-serving practitioners with insights from the science of adolescent development and to connect key decision makers with the science of adolescent development to improve policy and practice and to advance equity. She is a licensed California attorney and has previously provided legal aid. Brumbach received her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and her MPP in social and urban policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
