Elizabeth Dhuey
Elizabeth Dhuey is professor of economics at the University of Toronto, with a primary appointment in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto, Scarborough. She also holds graduate appointments in the Department of Leadership, Higher, and Adult Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and at the Rotman School of Management, and is nonbudgetary crossappointed to the Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources, the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, the Department of Economics, and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. She is additionally an adjunct associate professor at the Department of Economics at McMaster University. Dhuey’s research focuses on the economics of education, with attention to the early years of children’s development, special education financing, and education and training for the future world of work. Her research has been published in economics and education journals and cited in the popular press, including The Globe and Mail, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times. She received her PhD in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
