Federick Ngo
Federick Ngo is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Dr. Ngo was previously a USC Provost’s Fellow with the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California. He was also a research analyst with SRI International. His research examines the impact of higher education policies and practices, with a focus on college access and community college students and he has active research projects on developmental education reform, undocumented students, and community college leadership and practice. He has published widely in journals such as Educational Researcher, Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, American Educational Research Journal, Teachers College Record, The Journal of Higher Education, Research in Higher Education, The Review of Higher Education, Community College Journal of Research and Practice, and Community College Review. Dr. Ngo holds a PhD in education policy and an MA in economics jointly from the University of Southern California along with dual MAs in international educational administration/policy analysis and the teaching of mathematics, and a BA in comparative studies in race and ethnicity (CSRE) collectively from Stanford University.
