Femi Vance
Dr. Femi Vance is a researcher at AIR, where she researches and evaluates out-of-school time programs and provides technical assistance to youth development professionals. She has expertise in youth program quality, social and emotional learning, evaluation capacity building, and skill-building in youth programs. She strives to translate her research into practice. She has co-authored practical guides for OST practitioners and has extensive experience providing professional development across a range of topics such as continuous quality improvement, engaging youth, and coaching staff. She is a National Summer Learning Field Consultant and serves on the board of the California School-Age Consortium. Dr. Vance holds a master’s degree in public policy from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in educational policy from UC Irvine.
