Holly Glover

Holly Glover is director of principal gifts at the Smithsonian Institution, where she leads partnership efforts with donors and funders to support educational equity. She was previously division assistant director of advancement and partnerships in the Smithsonian Science Education Center. Glover was formerly with Teach for America–Bay Area as managing director of corporate and foundation partnerships, working in courtship and collaboration with Silicon Valley philanthropic funders. She also co-founded Alpha Public Schools, a network of public charter schools in East San José, California, where she led non-academic operations and raised $1 million to support its launch. Glover believes that all children have a fundamental right to an excellent education, and works towards that ideal by building authentic relationships across lines of difference, inspiring change by establishing a compelling vision and executing with fidelity, and using data to drive improvement. Earlier in her career, she was a graduate fellow in the Rocketship Education network at Education Pioneers. Glover earned her MA in education policy and leadership from Stanford University.
