Il-Woo Paik is dean, professor of education, and head professor of lifelong education management at the Graduate School of Education at Yonsei University. He is also deputy director of the Korean Educational Finance and Economics Association, and a senior member of the Korean Educational Administration Association, the University Advancement Committee, and the University Finance Steering Committee at the Korean Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. He serves as associate editor for the Journal of the Korean Association of Educational Finance and Economics and editor-in-chief for Korean Education, the journal of the Korean Educational Development Institute. He was formerly a researcher for PACE and a visiting professor at the National Center for Research in Vocational Education at the University of California, Berkeley. Paik received his PhD in education from the University of California, Berkeley.
