Iliana Brodziak de los Reyes

Iliana Brodziak de los Reyes is a senior research analyst at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where she has over 15 years of experience conducting statistical analysis of achievement data, resource allocation data, survey data, and cost analysis, with an emphasis on early childhood education and English language learners. She leads the analytic team designing the analytical strategy, sample selection, and quantitative analysis for the Dual Language Learners in California study, which examines strategies in early learning and care programs that support young dual language learners and their families. She led the analysis of the classroom observation data for the Evaluation of California’s Transitional Kindergarten Program and was responsible for estimating the program’s impact on English learners. She directs the SENI Evaluation, a mixed-methods study in Los Angeles Unified School District examining the allocation and impact of SENI funds in reducing inequities. She has also been a lead researcher on The Cost of an Adequate Education, a professional judgment cost analysis for California, and has conducted Title I comparability studies. Brodziak de los Reyes earned her PhD in international comparative education from Stanford University.
