Jade V. Marcus Jenkins

Jade V. Marcus Jenkins is an associate professor in the UCI School of Education. Her work is multidisciplinary and focuses on issues that are amenable to policy intervention; she uses diverse research methods to evaluate programs and understand the mechanisms that promote child and family wellbeing. Jenkins previously worked in early childhood care and education system for the state of Florida; she is currently studying early childhood development policy. Jenkins received her BA and MA in family, youth, and community sciences from the University of Florida and her PhD in public policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
