Jade V. Marcus Jenkins is an associate professor in the University of California, Irvine, School of Education. Her multidisciplinary work focuses on issues in early childhood education that are amenable to policy intervention; she uses diverse research methods to evaluate programs and understand the mechanisms that promote child and family well-being. She previously worked in the early childhood care and education system for the state of Florida. Jenkins received her MA in family, youth, and community sciences from the University of Florida and her PhD in public policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
