James H. Hanson is a former physician and medical executive at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals (Oakland), where he practiced pediatric critical care and held leadership roles in medical affairs, quality improvement, and patient safety. He previously served as vice president of medical affairs and medical director of the pediatric intensive care unit at Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland.
