Jillian Gross Fortgang is a leadership coach for the M-LEAD Leadership Certificate Program in the Barger Leadership Institute at the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, and a lecturer with the Development Summer Internship Program from the Office of Development at the University of Michigan U-M). She was previously a lecturer at Eastern Michigan University and director of global education for Oakland Community College. She has been a longtime racial equity and social justice leadership champion, working as an equity consultant with CW Impact Strategies, a racial equity facilitator with Catch Your Dream Consulting, a social change coach with The Collective Good, and a restorative health and healing partner with SEJE Consulting. She received a Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship from the U-M Marsal Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies and a Fulbright Award from the the U–M Institute of International Education. Gross Fortgang received her PhD in higher education and higher education administration from the University of Michigan.
