John M. McAdams
John M. McAdams is an economist with the Bureau of Economics at the Federal Trade Commission. He was previously an instructor and teaching assistant in the Department of Economics at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. His research and teaching interests include the economics of education, labor economics (crime), public economics, and applied econometrics. He is a member of the American Economic Association, the Society of Labor Economists, the Southern Economic Association, and the San Diego Education Research Alliance. Dr. McAdams holds a PhD in economics from the University of California, San Diego, an AB in economics from the University of Chicago, and a BA in economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
