Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith is an associate professor of economics at Georgia State University (GSU) and a faculty fellow with the Georgia Policy Labs (GPL). Dr. Smith was previously an adjunct professor at George Washington University (GW). He also worked as a policy research scientist at The College Board and as a statistician for the U.S. Department of Justice. His research focuses on the behavioral and institutional factors that influence college choice and completion, along with the labor market implications. Dr. Smith received a PhD in economics from Boston University and a BA in economics from Tufts University.
