Kathleen Hebbeler

Kathleen Hebbeler is a senior principal education researcher at SRI International. A specialist in early childhood, she has extensive knowledge of accountability in early childhood programs, assessment, and design issues for large-scale studies of young children. She lent her expertise to numerous national advisory boards, including the National Research Council’s Committee on Developmental Outcomes and Assessment for Young Children, and has consulted on major evaluations to create designs that adequately address issues in assessment of children with disabilities. Hebbeler received her PhD in human development and family studies from Cornell University.
