Katie McClarty

Katie McClarty is the chief academic officer at Mcgraw Hill. Dr. McClarty was previously senior vice president of research and design at Renaissance and chief assessment assessment officer at Questar Assessment Inc. She was also director of the Center for College and Career Success at Pearson. Her expertise includes assessment design, college readiness, standard setting, and gifted and talented education. She is co-editor of the book Preparing Students for College and Careers: Theory, Measurement, and Educational Practice. Dr. McClarty holds a PhD in social and personality psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, an executive MBA from the University of Minnesota, and a BA in psychology from the University of Iowa.
