Katie McClarty

Katie McClarty is the chief academic officer at McGraw Hill. She was previously senior vice president of research and design at Renaissance and chief assessment assessment officer at Questar Assessment. She has also been director of the Center for College and Career Success at Pearson. Her expertise includes assessment design, college readiness, standard setting, and gifted and talented education. She is coeditor of the book Preparing Students for College and Careers: Theory, Measurement, and Educational Practice. McClarty received her executive MBA from the University of Minnesota and her PhD in social and personality psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
