Kiarah Young is a former student researcher with Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE). She previously worked as a marketing assistant at Wesleyan University’s resource center and as a digital specialist at the Fries Center for Global Studies. She was also a student leader in Sacramento City Unified School District’s “Be Here, Every Day Counts” campaign to reduce chronic absenteeism. Young graduated from Sacramento Charter High School and earned her BA in African American/Black studies from Wesleyan University.
