Lasisi Ajayi

Lasisi Ajayi is professor of literacy/language education and chair of the Department of Teacher Education and Foundations in the James R. Watson and Judy Rodriguez Watson College of Education at California State University, San Bernardino. He has served in several different academic leadership positions, including as program coordinator of the master of arts in Reading/Language Arts program, the Multiple Subject Credential Program, the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages program. He is also a productive researcher who has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on multimedia/multimodal literacies, critical literacy, social justice teaching, and teacher preparation. He also holds a teaching credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Ajayi received his PhD in language/literacy education from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
