Laura Goe was a research scientist at the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and served as a principal investigator for the National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality (NCCTQ), a collaborative effort that included ETS among its partners. Her work focused on teacher evaluation, professional development, and educational equity. Goe began her career teaching special education at Tunica Junior High School in Mississippi before transitioning to research. At ETS, she played a key role in developing comprehensive teacher evaluation systems and authored numerous publications on teacher effectiveness and professional growth. Goe earned her MS in educational policy and leadership from the University of Memphis and her PhD in policy, organizations, measurement, and evaluation from the University of California, Berkeley.
