Luke Dauter was a research associate at the University of California, Berkeley. He conducted empirical studies on public education in the Los Angeles Unified School District, including student mobility, charter school effects, and new facility impacts on student achievement. He was also research assistant at the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment and a graduate student research instructor at Columbia University. His research applied statistical modeling, social network analysis, and quantitative methodologies to study educational and labor market trends. He is currently vice president of data at Arches and has held leadership roles in data science, analytics, and business intelligence at companies including Dolly, GoodLeap, and Amitree. Dauter earned his MA and PhD in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
