Lydia Gandy-Fastovich is an administrative manager in the Office of Research in the Mary Frances Early College of Education at the University of Georgia. Previously, she served as a data analyst for the Syracuse City School District and as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Utah. Her research interests include education policy, educational leadership, and the ways policies and legal precedents affect historically marginalized groups. Her work is grounded in a commitment to equity and examines disability, racial, and gender justice in education. Gandy-Fastovich earned a PhD in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
