Lynette M. Parker

Lynette Parker is an associate clinical professor at the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center at Santa Clara University School of Law, where she has taught and supervised law students handling immigration cases since 2000. She provides technical support to attorneys on political asylum, VAWA, U visa, and T visa cases and has authored a law review article in the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal on representing traumatized clients. She previously worked as a staff attorney at the International Institute of the East Bay for 10 years, representing asylum applicants, battered spouses and children, and victims of crimes and human trafficking. Parker earned her JD from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
