Marianna Giokas was a researcher with Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE) in the School of Education at the University of California, Berkeley. She has been a consultant at MGT of America, conducting policy research and analysis, and a coordinator for the Local Child Care and Development Planning Council at Child Action, Inc. She also worked as an assistant economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and completed a summer internship with the California Senate Office of Research. She is currently a program manager at the California Department of Social Services. Giokas earned her BA in economics and international relations from Smith College and an MA in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
