Marissa Wheeler

Marissa Wheeler is a former demographics researcher in the Population Studies Center (PSC) at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Wheeler was most recently a health research assistant with Penn Nursing. Her specialties include researching public health, family sociology, and event histories via quantitative and longitudinal analyses. Dr. Wheeler holds a PhD in demography from the University of Pennsylvania, an MSc in population and development from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a BA in political science and Italian studies from Emory University. She was also an assistant language teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET).
