Michael H. Fine
Michael H. Fine is the chief executive officer of California's Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT). He has also served as the chief administrative officer at FCMAT. He previously served 13 years as interim superintendent and deputy superintendent of business services and governmental relations at the Riverside Unified School District; was an assistant superintendent at the Newport-Mesa Unified School District; and a financial administrator in accounting and indirect budgets at Hughes Aircraft Company and General Dynamics Corporation. Fine has been president of the board for the Riverside Community College District Foundation and a member of the Budget Engagement Commission for the City of Riverside. He has a long history in governmental relations, working closely with policy makers in Sacramento on behalf of California’s TK–12 students. Fine received his MA in public administration from California Baptist University.
