Michael Hurwitz

Michael Hurwitz is executive director of policy research at The College Board. Dr. Hurwitz was previously a College Board research scientist and was formerly a research analyst with the Consortium of Financing Higher Education (COFHR) and the American Institutes for Research (AIR). His specialty is conducting research on college admission and financial aid. Dr. Hurwitz Holds a PhD in quantitative policy analysis in education from Harvard University, an MA in meteorology from Penn State University, and a BA in chemistry from Williams College. He has also been a visiting lecturer in meteorology at Bloomberg University of Pennsylvania.
