Mina Dadgar
Mina Dadgar is the founder and executive director of Education Equity Solutions, an organization dedicated to conducting research that closes the gap between policy and practice and creating equity focused higher education systems. She is presently a fellow with Just Equations and was formerly served as visiting associate vice chancellor for Guided Pathways at the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO), director of research for Career Ladders Project, policy research associate for WestEd, and research associate for the the Community College Research Center (CCRC). She is a mixed method researcher who has published studies on dual enrollment, developmental education reform, and community college guided pathways. Her 2014 study demonstrating the limited economic value of short-term college credentials was highlighted by NPR as an influential educational publication. Dr. Dadgar holds a PhD in economics and education from Teachers College at Columbia University along with an MPA from the Johnson School of Public Affairs and a BA in economics jointly from the University of Texas at Austin.
