Muriel Hamilton-Lee was the director of Head Start for New Haven Public Schools, overseeing programs serving hundreds of preschool children across multiple sites. She led efforts to expand access to early childhood education, increase language development support, and strengthen family engagement. She was a research scientist at the Yale Child Study Center and an educator and administrator at the Yale Bush Center in Child Development and Social Policy. She also provided technical assistance for development programs in the Office of New Haven Affairs at Yale University. Hamilton-Lee earned holds an EdD.
