Nexi R. Delgado

Nexi R. Delgado is an assessment coordinator for the Academic Planning and Assessment Support Center in the Division of Student Affairs at the University of California, Merced. He was previously an assessment analyst for the Assessment, Evaluation, and Organizational Development Division in the Office of Student Affairs and Campus Life at the University of California, San Diego; a researcher with the Community College Equity Assessment Lab in the Department of Education at San Diego State University; a data specialist at WomenCare Global; a field researcher for the Service Employees International Union; and a research associate with the UC Davis Health System. He specializes in equity research that supports vulnerable populations, and in identifying and assessing the data needs of universities, institutions, and organizations. Delgado received his MA in public health and community health sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his PhD in education from San Diego State University.
