Philip Wesley (Wes) Routon is an associate professor and the economics, management, and supply chain department chair at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC). He is an applied microeconomist with broad research interests, particularly in the economics of higher education, though much of his work falls within labor and education economics. He is also the founder and faculty advisor for GGC's chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society for economics. Routon received his PhD and MA in economics from Middle Tennessee State University.
