Rebecca Grove is assistant professor of education at Hood College. She was formerly assistant clinical professor and professional development coordinator in the Early Childhood and Special Education Programs at at the University of Maryland (UMD), and taught courses for English education majors. She was also a research assistant at the Morgan Education Group as a writing consultant, researcher, and contributing writer, focusing on  areas of research included college access, readiness, and retention, and school improvement; and an instructor, research associate, clinical experience supervisor, and program support graduate assistant at UMD College of Education. Grove received her PhD in curriculum and instruction from the University of Maryland.
