Ronald Powell is the CEO and president of RJ Powell Consultants; he is the former administrator of the Desert/Mountain SELPA (Special Education Local Plan Area). He is a recognized expert on school-based mental health and trauma-informed instruction and has made numerous conference presentations on the subjects. He received his PhD from the University of California, Riverside.
