Samantha Brown Olivieri

Samantha Brown Olivieri is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Set Up Tutoring. Olivieri was previously a senior principal leader of marketplace quality and impact at Guild Education and a partner leading K12 Futures at Entangled Solutions. She also served as chief strategy officer (CSO) at GreatSchools and was director of accountability for the California Charter Schools Association (CCSA). She was formerly an Education Pioneers Fellow with the Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Family of Schools collaborative and was an education coordinator for the Cooke Center Academy at the Cooke School and Institute. Olivieri has over 20 years of experience in education, including holding leadership roles in organizational strategy, policy, advocacy, and parent engagement. Her passion for education stems from formative experiences in the classroom, where she learned the power of young people’s ingenuity, talents, and passion. She has been recognized nationally for her work in accountability and measurement in K12 education. Olivieri holds an MPP in education policy from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) along with a BA in politics and Spanish from Pomona College.
