Samuel J. Agronow

Samuel J. Agronow had a distinguished career in institutional research across various educational institutions. He served as director of institutional research at Saint Mary’s College of California, where he contributed to studies on state standards and college admissions. He was previoysly associate director of admissions research and evaluation at the University of California Office of the President, playing a key role in developing the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS). Agronow also held research positions at Samuel Merritt College and worked with Riverside County Schools. He served as president of the California Association for Institutional Research (CAIR) and was an active board member, significantly influencing the organization’s growth. Born in Jamaica, New York, Agronow earned his MA and PhD in psychology from Wayne State University.
