Sara Bartolino Krachman is the former founder, executive director, and senior advisor of Transforming Education, where she led efforts to support school systems in integrating social-emotional learning and whole-child development into policy and practice. Under her leadership, TransformEd partnered with school systems serving over one million students across more than 20 states. She was previously an Education Pioneers Fellow and a senior associate in the education practice at The Parthenon Group, advising national foundations, large K–12 school districts, and state education agencies on large-scale education reform efforts. She is a national thought leader on social-emotional learning and has authored more than a dozen publications and toolkits that translate findings from neuroscience and psychology into actionable strategies for K–12 educators. Krachman earned a bachelor's degree from Harvard University.
