Sarah Archibald

Sarah Archibald was a strategic planning manager at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, where she led the development of an equity-centered strategic plan and facilitated center-wide planning initiatives. She previously served as a researcher and project manager at the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative, co-leading studies on charter school replication, educator effectiveness, and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s equity agenda. She also directed the Wisconsin Collaborative Education Research Network, overseeing initiatives to connect faculty, support students, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. Archibald was an education policy advisor to State Senator Luther Olsen and special assistant to Governor Jim Doyle, where she provided policy analysis and led Wisconsin’s Race to the Top application. She is now an independent education consultant specializing in school finance, education reform, leadership, and professional development. Archibald earned her PhD in education policy analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
