Sean Tanner is a senior research associate with the Center for School Accountability and Performance (CSAP) Program at WestEd. His research focuses on the impact of pre-K – 12 policies, such as accountability and school finance reform and educational and socioeconomic inequality, particularly for educationally disadvantaged students. Prior to his work at WestEd, Dr. Tanner served as a senior researcher at the Learning Policy Institute. He received a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
