Seeta A. Pai

Seeta Pai is the executive director of GBH Education at WGBH-TV, where she oversees work across both in-school and out-of-school educational contexts. She was previously vice president of research at Common Sense Media, where she directed several national studies on kids' and teens' media use. Pai also steered their impact evaluation efforts, codeveloped organizational strategy, was architect of their digital media and learning initiatives, and guided their activities on underserved families. She also directed educational content, research, and community/family engagement for several Sesame Workshop international projects. Seeta has also held research positions at University of California, Berkeley, and elsewhere. She brings a strong research emphasis and attention to cultural sensitivity and diversity in her work. Pai received her PhD in human development from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
