Steven W. Evans is Distinguished Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Ohio University. He is also codirector of the Center for Intervention Research in Schools. His research focuses on developing and evaluating school-based treatments for adolescents with ADHD and related disorders, integrating approaches from clinical psychology, developmental psychology, and psychiatry. His work examines intervention effectiveness in school settings, evidence-based psychological treatments, and the relationship between ADHD, academic achievement, and social skills development. Evans is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association’s Division 53 (Society of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology) and a recipient of Ohio University’s Distinguished Professor Award, the highest academic honor from the university. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from Case Western Reserve University.
