Sun-Young Jung

Sun-Young Jung is a professor in the Department of Social Welfare at Incheon National University in Korea. Her research interests include child maltreatment, poverty, early intervention, maternal employment, and family-related values. She has served on the advisory board of Dream Start, a national early intervention program for low-income children in Korea, and on the working committee of national child policy. Jung has participated in various research projects focused on designing and revising child-related policies in Korea. She earned her MA in social work from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Ph.D. in social welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
